The Chicago Composers Forum concert will feature ensemble dal niente performing Drew Baker's Inter for flute, clarinet, violin, and cello. The concert will also feature new music by Martha Horst, Marita Bolles, Augusta Read Thomas, Eun Young Lee, and Kevin Volans. Music historian David Patterson will give an introduction. The concert will be followed by a reception in the gallery. Rosenthal Fine Art is located at 3 East Huron, 2nd Floor Chicago, IL.

The UH Cntemporary Ensemble concert will feature Drew Baker's National Anthem for solo piano. Also featured: South African composer Kevin Volnass' Kneeling Dance for two pianos, Brian Yasuis' Four Songs (after the Japanese) for soprano and piano, and Polish composer Henryk Goreckis' large work Kleines Requiem for Eine Polka. Admission is free.

Hailed as a "ferociously talented pianist" (Chicago Sun Times) and "extraordinary" in her "mastery of what lay on the dense, printed page and beyond," (Chicago Tribune), Ms. Dissanayake has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa. She has worked with such composers as Pierre Boulez, George Crumb, Augusta Read Thomas, Joan Tower, and David Rakowski.
